I thought this was both a very sad and lovely scene in A Scandal in Belgravia! Poor, poor Molly...Sherlock can be such as ass. Of course, it isn't entirely his fault that he doesn't understand what you do and don't say, but I imagine he'll be working harder on figuring that out now, and he did sound legitimately sorry about it, which I love-love-loved!
hopefully Sherlock's pose doesn't look too odd. I didn't know quite how to put his legs. If anyone is wondering this fanart has the same sentiment as the scene, I don't want them to be a couple. As good as a story like that could be it obviously doesn't fit into Sherlock - that just isn't his character, but I am glad they have her there as an unfortunate casualty of his emotional problems. It really does help to give him depth
(also I was hoping his new scarf would be what Molly's present was but I realize he was wearing it earlier in the episode, dammit! I do hope her present is something that shows up again if he did in fact keep it and not return it to her, which could be the case)

Poor Molly. 
It's not Sherlock's fault though, he just doesn't understand social cues and situations very well (one of the many reasons why I think he's has Asperger's rather than a sociopath.) I can't see him in a romantic/sexual relationship with anyone either, he's asexual. I think Sherlock and John have a very special relationship, I just can't think of it as romantic or sexual.
